I'm Pasty McWhiteypants over here and I fucking love Patty because, honestly, if I were surrounded by science nerds who blew up ghosts I would totally be trying to figure out what historical period the ghosts were from before they went kablooey and kind of "smile and nod"ing when the scientific jargon got too obscure. And I don't agree with the whole "Patty's not for white people/Holtzman's not for straight people" thing, but I can at least kind of see why some black people are overprotective/possessive of Patty because holy shit the vitriol aimed at Leslie Jones is disgusting.
