Yeah, describing (or part of their body) as "delicious" definitely makes me think of someone being sexually attracted to someone, though obviously that isn't what the author intended here.

I remember those books using "delicious" a lot as a physical descriptor and thinking it was creepy, so I liked the one time someone was raving about a "delicious" baby to a cranky relative and she snapped back with something like, "Are you planning to cook it and eat it?"
