I wouldn't have included the last part because I think this is language that in today's age has connotations that wouldn't have occurred ot the author but do come up for readers. But yes, I think that Anne is someone who loves romantic descriptions for everything. It is completely innocent, it just doesn't seem that way to modern readers.
