Moving to Washington DC! (anon who recently got a job there)

Sooo excited, even though my salary won't be very high and also someone just told me it's known as the "murder capital of the states". It'll all be awesome, somehow!

DC isn't THAT bad as long as you avoid certain areas.

Enjoy! Definitely take advantage of all the free museums and see if there's another email list/twitter list that tells you the cool or free things happening so you can get out and meet more people (there's a twitter for New York City called Nerd York City that is my favorite thing in the world)
