What are you looking forward to?

Do you have anything coming up soon that you are excited about?

Going to a meetup at a theater with a Doctor Who San Antonio group I found. We're watching a few episodes of the Sarah Jane Adventures, which I never watched past the first few episodes. But still excited to meet with other fans. Also, there is a Comic Con coming to San Antonio in October, and I may get to go.

Enjoy! I've always had fun meeting other fans, I made one of my closest friends randomly in NYC during the Series 8 Doctor Who premiere.

Pretty excited about Doctor Strange. I also can't wait for October because I plan on going to a haunted house this year (unless I chicken out).

Oh, yes, Doctor Strange. I'm excited about that too. It seems as much of a fantasy movie as the Thor movies were, and I adore fantasy. I think I'm really going to like it.

Halloween! My favorite holiday. Going to a Doctor Who party this year, I think. The only costume I have is Harry Potter, so it isn't appropriate for that. Ah well.

I have to admit that I'm looking forward to Doctor Strange (I just hope it's on par with the animated version they did a while back - that was impressive)

uhhhhhhhhh

I guess Dishonored 2? I keep thinking I should be jazzed for that as I really liked the original, but I think I spent all my hype this year on XCOM 2, Doom 2016 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided.

Still gon' get it tho. Probably snag the CE for my shelf. :)

Quitting my job. I've made the decision to give it until half December at the latest, but I will be quitting (unless they fire me first), and honestly it's such a relief.

Moving to Washington DC! (anon who recently got a job there)

Sooo excited, even though my salary won't be very high and also someone just told me it's known as the "murder capital of the states". It'll all be awesome, somehow!

Luke Cage in a couple of days! If it's on par with DD and JJ I'll be very happy.

SO excited for Dishonored 2. Dishonored was the game that got me into video games.

Also I'm taking a trip to visit my family and my girlfriend soon!

Eight year anniversary with boyfriend this weekend. And then I'll spend time with one of my sisters in Stockholm, before she has her second baby.

Dental appointment because I'm getting a painful wisdom tooth pulled out and I'll have a legitimate excuse not to go to work for a day or two.

I applied to work in an Amazon warehouse and I have my orientation Friday. My current boss is so desperate to keep me, but I'll only be working one day a week for 3-4 hours because I'll be full time at Amazon and I can't work more because I'm also going to school, not that I want to. I also hate dealing with customers and one of the managers thinks I'll change my mind, despite having worked in a warehouse before (she doesn't know that), plus I get to wear jeans and t-shirts, my favorite kind of clothes to wear.

World of Final Fantasy looks pretty cool. The idea of collectible monster allies that grow stronger through meeting challenges reminds me a lot of Folklore, which never got the hype it deserved.

Stardew Valley 1.1 is in beta, so it should release soon and I am SO EXCITED. I'd beta test but naaaah I'll wait it out.

Pokemon Sun and Moon in November. It looks so cool already. IS IT NOVEMBER YET??

This upcoming weekend will be the first I've had in awhile to myself and I'm going to go watch college football at my favorite bar all day Saturday, and Sunday I'm just going to relax, make myself a late breakfast and chill in my sweatpants all day, maybe go to Starbucks but that's it. I can't wait!

It's been a long time since I've been on FS! But I'm most looking forward to Rogue One! Been drawing a lot and doing online projects with people, it's been a blast, so I'm also looking forward to the next drawing challenges and things to participate in. I was looking at that secret about wanting to work in the entertainment industry, and I can't help but feel like I'm doing what I want to do write now, just by trying to improve my artistic abilities. I have an art degree, but it has still taken me a long time to get better at this. I am not super young, but I feel like if you want to get better and possibly apply for professional positions than you should just practice. There are a lot of people who improve rapidly even when they are older because they sit and work at it. Honestly, you create you own luck in this world, and I feel like I get to meet and work with some amazing people in the industry, just be being a casual artist.
