I applied to work in an Amazon warehouse and I have my orientation Friday. My current boss is so desperate to keep me, but I'll only be working one day a week for 3-4 hours because I'll be full time at Amazon and I can't work more because I'm also going to school, not that I want to. I also hate dealing with customers and one of the managers thinks I'll change my mind, despite having worked in a warehouse before (she doesn't know that), plus I get to wear jeans and t-shirts, my favorite kind of clothes to wear.

Oof, good luck. Amazon warehouse jobs are relentlessly strenuous and there's supposed to be a lengthy process of pat-downs and stuff to prevent theft before you can leave.

Nothing I can't deal with. The warehouse job I had before was a courier and we had to be checked by security. And I was told I'm going to be working the in the warehouse with the experimental robots that bring the items to you, and if not, I need the exercise.
