Like you could have a scene where character A asks if the sheets could be changed and character B says nah babe I'll take the wet spot, and character A goes awww. :D

In an established long-term relationship, most couples have established which side of the bed they like and always sleep there. Many even maintain those L/R positions when travelling or otherwise not in their home bed. Wet spots would vary in location most times. B's offer to take the wet spot is moot if it's on A's side.
Or maybe I'd just like to see real-couple dynamics like that in more fic?
