Why would you trust someone with a key in the first place? That pretty much telling them "Hey, come in whenever you want!" whether or not you meant it that way.

That aside, I'd place a few Nanny Cams around the house, or some other "hidden" camera. Either that, or ask a couple neighbors to watch your place, and report any suspicious activity.

Well, most people do it as a security measure, in case you lock yourself out etc. At least, that's why I do it.
