Didn't buy or play it but I have been having a great time following the gossip.

The whole thing is just bewildering to me though. If they had just made a statement about being unable to implement some of the features in time for the release but they were working on it or something like that I think backlash would be way less.

Also not charging as much as they did.

I am very much enjoying the backlash and gossip without being involved (unlike with Fable 3, that I will hold a grudge against until the end of days). It does feel a bit onesided, like I wish the No Man's Sky "side" had more of a leg to stand on so they were not being so soundly...lashed against.

But, IMO, they don't really. So it's basically a verbal beatup negative review session I am enjoying watching.

Supposedly there's a few pockets of ppl defending NMS but I've only seen the tiniest, quickly dismissed fraction. So I think it's a token effort.
