If you're sick of Buffy's manpain in Season 5, I'm not sure how you will make it through Season 6.

Oh, and don't ever watch Cabin in the Woods. It takes the Dawn plot (which I actually liked and understood Buffy's position) and makes it stupid.

...you mean the movie Cabin in the Woods? I haven't seen it in like a year and it's been even longer since I've seen any of Buffy s5 but I'm not following your comparison here. Elaborate?

Presumably it has something to do with the situation around Glory's perpose for Dawn and how Buffy has to deal with it.

op- so far i have mixed feelings about s6. whenever dawn opens her mouth i want to claw her face off because she is nothing but a whiny plot enabler.
i really love when she's actually being helpful and mindful of others. i know that she is basically a pretty realistic teenager, but she is 15 by now, which is buffy's age when the show started and the comparision just makes her look awful, especially since she's had to deal with similiar supernatural shit.
with all she's been through, i would expect her to be a lot more understanding about a lot of the shit she bitches about (like complaining they have to get rid of candles even though she literally slapped willow a scene earlier for almost killing her through her addiction).... idk, she doesn't feel like a real character to me.

BUT i don't really find any instances of buffy manpain in s6? can't really think of any of the top of my head, so definitely not to the extend of "IDGAF IF EVERYONE DIES AS LONG AS I DON'T HAVE TO SEE DAWN DIE" that ressurection thing was handled rly well and interesting.
