I pay 1050 for a 2-bedroom that I split with a roommate. So, 2100 total. And we're lucky to get it - it's very cheap for the area and location (probably because it's the shittiest building on the block, and we're on the ground floor facing the street).

*deep New Yorker sigh*

My half of my rent (which I split evenly with roomie) $400 more than anything in this thread so far. And that's my half.

$1080 for a two bedroom/two bath apartment (I live alone; I just like having a guest room). Pretty decent price for the area that I'm in, and it's a little over 1,000 square feet so it's roomy enough.

$675 (before utilites) for a 1 bed 1 bath

$600 for a 2 bed/1 bath apartment.

£350 per month for a one bedroomed upstairs flat in a semi-rural location but no garden just a small yard.

It could be worse, it is slightly below average for this town, but it could be better.

$425 with utilities included, but I rent a room in a house. When I was living by myself in a studio it was about $535 plus utilities.

I live kind of in the burbs, not the nicest burbs but not the worst ones either. I really want to live downtown, which would be much more expensive...and that's only in Indy, with a lower cost of living than several much bigger cities.

$675 for a 2-bed 1.5-bathroom apt. There cheaper places (houses even) I'd like to get into but they won't take my cat.

I'm about to move to DC and I'm looking for a one-bedroom.. even "outside" of DC, it looks like I'm going to look at spending at least $1200-$1400, and that's on the low end. Yikes.

$550/mo. for my one-bedroom apartment.

It's in a crappy neighborhood, but the apartment itself is everything I never knew I needed or wanted. I'm also the original tenant, so I'm very attached to my home, even if just around the corner is the city's unofficial red light district. XD

$600, including utilities.

It's a 400 square foot Studio, but it's good enough to start in.

$1670AU per month. For a house. Which is less than the last place where $1500 was my half.

$400, split three ways so $1,200 total, for a 3bdroom, 2 bath, 2 half bath duplex. It's got an absolutely massive backyard, a patio, and a finished basement. We stumbled upon a pretty good deal with it! We're in the Kansas City area.

$760 CAD for a somewhat crappy one bedroom apartment in one of the less desirable suburbs of Vancouver.

That still feels expensive to me, but it's a really good deal compared with what most people are paying around here. When we move out, the landlords are going to reno this place and hike the rent by like five hundred dollars.

The mortgage is about $1100 a month for a 3 bedroom, two and a half bath 1800 square foot house. And we live pretty close to the city.

I'm living in Thailand for a little while and my apartment is like 8kTHB. Which translates to around $230USD I believe.
