I paid about that much for a 2-bedroom in Minnesota (not in the big city area). Though, I hear cost of rent has gone up since.

Damn. I live in Oklahoma, in a small town, and my rent for a 2 bedroom is 575.

God, that is STILL damn good for a 2 bed. Here in my city (i live in TN), it's over $800 for a 2 bed. Nearly a grand for a 3 bed. And forget about a townhome. You WILL be spending over a grand for that. And these are the cheapass places, too, not the nicer stuff downtown or out in the 'brubs.
