(Anonymous) 2016-10-02 01:12 am (UTC)(link)I guess the big thing is whether or not he's in a lot of pain. You should bring him in anyway as soon as you can, but if he doesn't seem too bothered you can maybe hold off. Of course, cats are notoriously good at hiding pain, but if he's eating and playing normally you might be okay to wait until Monday.
Still, you probably want to call a vet help line and get advice from an expert who can at least identify if the problem is serious or painful.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-02 01:27 am (UTC)(link)I read some stuff on PetMD (a lot of scary stuff, eek!) and it seems to be not quite an emergency, so far at least. I think what happened was that he ran into something at top speed and got basically a punch to the eye, poor little bugger. We'll probably take him to the vet tomorrow just to be safe. Thanks for your help and concern :-)
