I personally like Cadman, because she's spunky and different, but I get what you mean. Thing is, "Duet" was pretty much played for laughs and fanservice and wasn't meant to be taken seriously, so the writers probably didn't care to look deeper into the implications.

Seriously, she had control of his body for hours...kinda scary to think about that.

18. I know how you feel. I worry about everything I post sounding OOC and ridiculous. I have no problem asking for constructive criticism, but even after the nice comments I get, all I can think is, "They just don't want to hurt my feelings," or, "They're afraid I'll get mad at them if they tell me the truth." My brain automatically puts a negative spin on everything.

It's silly, isn't it? People probably think I'm fishing for compliments, but I'm not. The issue has caused me to want to drop all my characters on several occasions; I probably would have by now if everyone wasn't so nice and I didn't have so much fun on the days that I'm not obsessing.

I hope you get over your fears. ♥ I'll try to get over mine, too.

But I do like snarky!Ianto :D I think it might've been in one of the behind-the-scenes things that I heard the reason behind Ianto's change of character (but I could be wrong) and they basically said that he was acting quiet and submissive to hide his cyborg girlfriend, and once that stopped being an issue, he stopped acting like that - but I do agree that it's a bit of a drastic change, even with that reason behind it xD

You are 100% right. Me and my Torchwood friends have discussed every single one of those points like a million times. But I still love the show.

But seriously, they can quit with the Jack/Gwen any time. I don't care who he winds up with (I although if they force him into monogamy I'll be pissed), I just don't buy that he's OMG in love with Gwen. But I get why she'd be attracted to him, because the man is just too damned good looking. In fact, I kinda think he's a Cylon. No human is that gorgeous.

Oh and sassy!Ianto can definitely stay. We like him.

20) Harry and Ron didn't get that Remus was a werewolf either until they found out. Hermione did, but that's only because she's Hermione and worked so hard on that essay they had to do on werewolves for Snape. (I think it was an essay). If you don't figure out something Hermione figured out don't sweat it. :B

34. It's underrated, certainly! I don't think it's great, but I empathise. 'Cos I think Treasure Planet is one of the top Disney films ever, myself.

47. I haven't seen it but there are just two songs in the OCR I really, really like and I think the rest are eh. I'm hoping once I see it onstage it will come to life for me, but I worry.

Yes. There's really not a whole lot of Japanese influence, barring the Miyazaki-references and whatnot.

Though Song and her village appeared to be the only distinctly Korean-influenced design in the show thus far.
