Re: New Fandoms / Fall TV

I've really needed new shows since at this point either the shows I loved were cancelled (Castle) or I fell out of love and stopped watching. (Grey's Anatomy)

So far I've watched the Good Place (bleh), Designated Survivor (my favorite new show), Bull (pretty good so far), Notorious (meh, not worth watching), and Conviction (okay so far, going to give it a try). Still have Pitch, Frequency, Timeless, and Son of Zorn to watch (concept looks hilarious).

Didn't like the Macgyver pilot. Well, parts I liked, but it just seemed overwrought and the focus on him and ex-girlfriend just didn't endear me to the show. And the actors all seemed so smug. So probably not watching further.

Still going band forth on whether I'm going to watch Westworld. The rape gave me pause, but then Thandia Newton's interview gave me the idea that this might still be women friendly after all and the rape might have a purpose rather than just thrown in there for titlation.

Also still need to watch Luke Cage.

Enjoying the new seasons of Project Runway and The Great British Bakeoff.

So I think this seems like it is probably a good tv season for me. I actually like some of the new shows this year, which hasn't happened since Galavant first aired and then before that a while.
