It's probably not worth their drama to be friends with them. I mean, I'm sure there are some healthy, mature fictionkin out there, but I'm also the kind who's still sorta waiting for a unicorn to show up and spirit me away on a fantastic adventure, so getting me to believe in impossible things isn't a hard thing.

I think "fictionkin" are even more insane than their precursors, soulbonders, because soulbonders only said they shared their head with fictional characters, fictionkin say they're reincarnations of them.

I can believe in healthy mature soulbonders because I have, in the past, known two. I am a lot more cynical about fictionkin.

For me it doesn't help that I've yet to see a fictionkin that 1. was over 25 and 2. didn't mention any kind of mental illness/disorder in their sideboard/about page.

Speaking of reincarnations, I just realized I've yet to see fictionkin go for lesser-known characters. It's always someone well-known enough that they'll tell you not to follow them if you share the same kin.
