I can definitely see how it would suck to not be able to wear heels at all. But they're honestly pretty uncomfortable. I mean, a two inch heel can be only slightly less comfortable than no heel, but with three inches there's a definite decrease in comfort and by four inches it's like, lol, you'd better hope you don't need to walk far or stand in place for very long.

I do wear heels sometimes, but I often end up regretting it part way through the day. I should really just learn my lesson and switch entirely to flats. :(

My advice would be just to figure out what kind of no-heel footwear you like the look of best. For example, a pointy toe on a ballet flat (as opposed to a round toe) can give it a fiercer, dressier look. Ditto on boots. And when it comes to boots, embellishments like gold-tone hardware can really add some punch. Tall boots also tend to make more of an impression than short boots, especially when we're talking flats.
