Maybe different writers have different ships?

OP

But the showrunners never switched as far as I know. And it is more like at different periods they seem to want us to want one or other of the ships to be endgame. Like, season 1 she was with Scott, but she was still attracted to her ex, TC. And she ended up kissing him and breaking up with Scott. It seemed like they intended for her and TC to be the longterm thing. They were together for a while, and she got pregnant, though she lost the baby. But once they broke up, the show now seems to be pushing her back towards Scott. She admitted to herself that she was in love with Scott again. It just is a little weird to me. I've never seen that with another show. Love triangles, yes. Short-term relationships, yes. But I've never seen a canon where they are pushing super hard for one ship and against the other one and then do the exact opposite.

It seemed obvious that Jordan/TC was the endgame ship for the first two seasons. Then, yeah, things went a bit unusual. Some writer might think they're being really original and surprising to have the more unlikely pairing be endgame. Or it might be an actor issue. Who knows.

I suppose I slightly prefer Jordan/TC, but probably in part because I just assumed that was the pairing I'd be getting whether I liked it or not so I just accepted it. I don't think I'd mind too much if she ended up with Scott, so long as it was written believably.

Yes! I'm so confused with the wishy-washy nature of Jordan and her relationships! Though if TC doesn't come back, I guess she ends up with Scott by default. But I would love to see her just ditch them both and move on to someone else altogether.
