That's frustrating :/
Can you maybe call a moratorium on talking about your health with her? Just remove that topic from your conversation, and stick to the stuff that you do like talking about with her.
Maybe say something bland and subject-changing whenever she brings it up, or (if you're comfortable), say outright something like "you know, I don't think this topic is getting us anywhere, 'cause we clearly disagree", or "I love you, friend, but I'll take care of my health from here on. I appreciate your concern."

I could, just like I mentioned elsewhere, I did sort of talk to her about it freely at first, so I doubt it will go unnoticed - but I'll see what I can do.

I don't think you have to try and make it unnoticeable, though. You can just say that lately the medical stuff has been stressing you out enough, and you want to just have fun with her as a distraction from it - you don't need to be thinking about it any more than you already are, so let's talk about something else.

I hope it works out, though, one way or another!
