I'm a hypochondriac myself. I'm even a hypochondriac on behalf of my cat. But I draw the line at being a hypochondriac on my friends' behalf.

Is this a good enough friend that you can say "Look, I've checked out my issues with my doctor--who I trust because she's taken good care of me in the past. And I get medical advice from her because she's qualified to dispense medical advice--being, you know, a doctor. And if I'm concerned that I need a second opinion, I'll see another doctor. YOU ARE NOT A DOCTOR. I know you mean well, but right now, all the advice you're giving (that I haven't asked for) and the nagging you are doing about my health is doing nothing but upsetting me. Please don't do this anymore."

I think the difference is you know and she...does not?

The problem is that before I knew she had this tendency, i did mention my health, gave her info, and it sort of escalated from there.

I don't think that, just because you were the one to bring up your health concerns, at some time in the past, means you lose all right to rein back this ongoing discussion--which sounds much more like harping and nagging to me at this point, and which has clearly got out of control. You have every right to say "I'm addressing all my health issues with my doctor" and change the subject. Or even to tell her that what she is doing is nagging and fussing, and it's upsetting you.
