I'm gay and dark complexioned European, so anywhere in England is off limits to me now. Thanks a lot, Brexiteers.

The post Brexit thing is so weird and scary. Like there was this collective "see, more than half my countrymen agree we don't want X people here, so it's okay to harass them!

It is like some sort of weird mass hysteria has taken over the entire of England. I just don't get it. On Wednesday before the vote everyone was fine, friendly, and happy, then on the Friday it was like a switch had been flipped and it was one step away from Planet of the Apes. The worse it seems like the deal from the EU will be (and that the EU did not spontaneously disintegrate at the news, unlike the value of the English pound) the worse the people that voted for it behave. It is the world's biggest toddler temper tantrum.

Maybe this will finally be the thing that breaks the English people's arrogance though. Maybe this will make them understand they are not the top dog any more and they have to share like Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, and all the other former colonial powers.
