No, no and NO, because the person who forced me to watch that fucking episode MOCKED my phobia by using that very argument, and if I CHOSE to become phobiac in the first place. So fuck them and fuck you too for being so patronizing.

How on any planet was that comment patronizing? Some phobias become easier to deal with (and note I don't say cured, because a majority of people phobias do not become cured, they learn to deal/proactively avoid) if it's framed in a way that makes that particular phobia easier to focus on/around.

Stop being a twat. Having a phobia doesn't give you an asshole pass.
