Do I tell my coworkers I'm leaving or do I just...disappear? I'm not really close to any of them. I did tell the one person I started out with.

I'd just leave.

Leaving the job? City? Country? I mean, it'll be kind of obvious you're not there when you just stop coming, so I don't think there's anything wrong with saying, "Hey guys, I'm moving on to a different job."

You don't need to like... say things like, "It's been nice." "I'll keep in touch." etc if you don't think you'll do that (or it's been a fucking nightmare), but to me personally it'd be weird if someone just sort of stopped coming to work one day without warning (unless they were fired).

Are they people you work with regularly? Tell them. You're an adult. You don't have to go into tearful farewells, but it's normal to give co-workers a heads up, especially if it potentially affects their own work, but mostly because it's the adult thing to do.

There's really no downside to telling them, if you can stand doing it.

You could just email them on your last day to let them know you were moving on.

A polite email saying goodbye and wishing them the best never goes amiss. Maybe add them on LinkedIn if that's something you or they use.

Disappear, but leave behind a sock. Maybe they'll think you were Raptured.
