Same. I can definitely see myself getting this sooner than I got a Wii U, especially if Splatoon 2 / Project Sonic are released maybe two months or so after it.

I tried the Wii U - it's not my kind of console. This looks much closer to Nintendo's other handhelds, but basically is a full console. If you can just go from the one to the other and keep your save files, that's awesome. And I love it's still buttons and not touchscreen.

There probably is, but the "trailer" I've seen was mostly button control for the games. The DS has a touchscreen, but can still be most button-operated, too.
