Sleepy Hollow, I assume? I enjoyed the silliness of that show (up until Abbie was ousted) but never got into fandom or shipping and I'm glad I didn't.

I don't think it's strange to have been influenced by fiction, and there are far worse and more embarrassing things than Star Trek that could have influenced you! Anyway, it sounds like it helped make you into a pretty decent person, so that's good.

Yeah they're pretty meaningless. Hard and fast tests for things like generally are, and Mary Sue-ness in particular is a pretty iffy category to start with.
