Ugh. No. We all have that one friend who listens to nothing but trance and marijuana themed songs and smells like dirty bong water.

Mine's called Simon. We bonded during detention in high school and we ended up exactly as unemployable and broke as every teacher who got stuck running detention ever said we would.

Some of them are slowly evolving. They disappear for a few months and then emerge dressed like adults, smelling like they bathe regularly, and introducing us to their new girlfriends.

Who are these beautiful butterflies and what have they done with my friends?

...Sadly the only ones of my friends I can think of that evolved went the other way entirely and decided the cool path was needle drugs and crippling psychosis.

I mean, I do have a tall, dark, and handsome gentleman at home who intimidates most people when they first see him.

... he's a dog though.

We used to have a cutout of predator from the movie theatre in high school and he lived behind the door in my bathroom and at various friend's houses for a few years. I miss that guy. I wonder where he's at.

My folks will have been married 47 years this December and seeing how happy they are together makes me happy...if he could build Bag End for her, he would. They are exactly the comfortable little old married couple you describe. If only there were some spell you could work to make it happen.

None of my barbies were married, actually. I did trade one to my cousin so his action man could have a girlfriend. They lived together in a shoe box. She wasn't flexible enough to ride my horses or my police motorcycle anyway, and I got an action man parachute out of the deal. Much more interesting to younger me than a barbie with magic colour changing hair.
