Re: Recs~! Ask for recs here, any kind!
Free! if you enjoy Yuri on Ice, I guess?
Mononoke (the series, not the Princess Mononoke movie). It's one of my all time favourites. It's a supernatural/mystery show, more or less. Has several anthology-like story arcs, 2-3 episodes each. And it's really gorgeous as well.
Currently airing (based on a series by the same guy as Hellsing): Drifters - it's looking quite entertaining so far. Several historical figures thrown together to fight against other historical figures, kinda?
Bungou Stray Dogs is another fun one (currently in its second season). People with names of famous authors (and supernatural powers based on those author's works) in a detective agency against similar people in different criminal organisations.
If you enjoy Baccano!! once you watch it and want something more serious with prohibition era Mafia shenanigans, 91 Days might be interesting as well.
One thing that surprised me last season, but isn't anime: Thunderbolt Fantasy. It's, weirdly enough, a puppet show, which is the main make-it-or-break-it thing for most people - if you can't get over the puppets, then it won't be a lot of fun. But I thought it was suprisingly entertaining.
