My dad was initially against getting a cat and my sister plotted with her friend to sneakily get us one of their cat's kittens. She named it Cerveza kind of as a joke because she was taking Spanish in school and "hey dad likes beer so maybe if we name the cat beer he will like the cat!" As it turned out he grumpily conceded to keeping it because it cuddled up so cutely with my little brother when they were both sleeping in the living room.

That only works if beer is a single color. But it is not so.

Also I have never seen a cat yellow enough to be prototypically beer colored, but if there is that would be pretty neat.

Lagers aren't the only beers, anon. There's ales, porters, stouts...brown, dark yellow, and amber are beers colors, not just pale yellow.
