Everyone has some breaking point for their fiction, unless you love reading The Turner Diaries: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Turner_Diaries It's simply a matter of where you draw the line. When I was younger, I continued reading a book where a character who was supposed to be likable said bisexuals should all be exterminated, but I stopped reading one where a comedic character used to help set black people on fire.
