Pop eccentric Pete Burns died today, so did the markedly less eccentric Bobby Vee, and writer Sherri S Tepper, and comic writer, proselytizer, and joke Jack Chick. From television the co-creator of Dad's Army Jim Perry also passed away. And of course Glenn and Abraham on the Walking Dead, along with most of the audience's will to live.

Bobby Vee was 73, cause of death was due to advanced Alzheimer's, which absolutely sucks

Pete Burns was only 57, but Vee was 73, as the anon who responded said, Tepper was 83, Perry 93, and Chick 92.

Damn. I liked Tepper's stuff but from what I remember part of Jack Chick's hell might involve reading her books. I'd say her hell would involve reading his comics, but she'd either laugh, be inspired to write a Chick tract based dystopian fantasy novel where the heroine faces harsh truths about the patriarchy, or both.
