Eh, I don't think so? I think it bothers me a little because she doesn't cook (like AT ALL) and sometimes I feel like she's a bit flippant about her diet when her whole family is incredibly supportive and goes through a considerable amount of trouble to accommodate her. Making two entrees and several side dishes plus two desserts for a family gathering of omnivores, enthusiastic carnivores, people with food allergies and one vegetarian/vegan is no joke, man.

Then maybe you answered your own question here. Her flippant attitude and lack of appreciation for the trouble it takes?

Maybe. It's not that she's ungrateful, exactly... she's actually thanked me for going above and beyond and introducing her to some vegan dishes she'd never had, but really liked. But when it comes right down to it, someone who doesn't cook probably doesn't grasp just how much work goes into making "extra" meals and accommodating special diets. I'm not a Cordon Bleu trained chef, I'm just a home cook who's trying my best.
