I liked xander when I first saw the show, but I dislike him now that I'm rewatching it. Willow too. They're both really annoying

Oh god. I never liked Willow. Not in season 1, not in season 7, not in any season in between.

I never cared one way or the other about him either when I first watched or on rewatches. But Willow is the one who I first liked and then hated. Then I couldn't remember why I hated her and liked her when I first rewatched it and then grew to hate her again. By the time she becomes the most annoying and pathetic excuse for a big bad of the entire series, I'm ready to never watch the show again.
I do best if I stick with seasons 1-4. I just eye roll through season 4 Willow "I'm the only real Wicca" because that season has a lot of other stuff I really like, like Buffy's relationships with her mother and Giles and how she is able to see herself maturing.
