Honestly I think that would only ever really happen if I had a costume-making friend.

I'm short, have a very narrow waist, and widish hips. It's really not the ideal figure for cosplay, but I do manage with it.

You can look great even without the "ideal" figure or whatever - cosplay is about fun! And learning to sew is not that difficult.

I feel you. I have a fat ass, AND a flat chest, and... it's tough to work with, and makes me angry and bitter sometimes. :| But you should try to learn sewing! It takes practice, but you'll slowly get better and then look back and wonder how you got that far!
