It's a Law of Cosplay that the character you most want to cosplay will be the least like you physically. Personally I tend to really really want to do blond characters and I look flat out awful as a blond. Or male characters who wear more formfitting outfits when I've got some Hartman Hips going on.

But do it anyway. Some of the most positive attention I've gotten has been while cosplaying characters who couldn't be less like me physically and I've always been ten thousand times happier cosplaying the characters I loved rather than the ones I looked the most like.
