I paid the few quid each time but never actually read the books. I love my BFF but she's a shit writer and I just don't have the time to read her poorly written books about bland characters going gay for each other and living happily ever after in seme/uke bliss.

Seems right on par with the people saying "I'd totes read that!" and then don't do it. And you're both perfectly good friends! Friendship is not about equal exchange, it's about caring about someone and showing it. There might be more sides to the truth, but that's how it is for everybody (even if someone on this thread won't admit it).
