the gundam wing fandom also used numbers. ex: 3x4 was trowa/quatre...I think. I know quatre was four because of his name and I know the other characters were also assigned numbers based on their names but I could never freakin' keep them straight.

yes. quatre was just the only one that I could always remember. I memorized all of the other ones when I was in the fandom, but I don't really remember them anymore

1x2 (heero/duo) 1xR (heero/relena) 1x4 (heero/quatre) 2x5 (duo/wufei) 3x4(trowa/quatre) 2xH (duo/hilde) 5xS (wufei/sally po) 13xUne (this was treize/lady une) Zechs/Noin was typically written as such...I think. I can't for teh life of me remember Zechs's number association, so I can't remember what it was for Zechs/Treize. I think it was 7x13? Maybe?

Zechs is phonetically similar to the German 6 so it was 13x6.

Zechs is 6. (From the German 'sechs'.) Which makes writing Zechs/Noin (9) like that a missed opportunity.

Zechs is 6 and Noin is 9. Go 69 go!
(Their names came from the German numbers, I think.)

Thanks for reminding me that my lamentable taste in rarepairs/uncommon ships goes back to the dawn of time... There was never enough Heero/Trowa and Duo/Hilde and (my favorite) Noin/Sally.

Hey, I shipped (and still sorta ship) Sally Po/Heero. I mean hell!! She was more worried about HIM the entire time than she ever was with Wufei!!

Alas, no fanfic to be had....:C
