Yeah...aside from you and the one nonny downthread who specifically mentioned Universal, this thread is vaguely depressing to me.

(I only saw the original around the time the 1999 remake was released, but I have a strong soft spot for it.)

I have never seen it myself, but I do know it exists, so my first thought on seeing someone say "the original" was "Do you mean the black and white one?".
