Oh FFS, they don't do it so we know it's a woman. They do it because we think it's hot. Yes, even some of us women think it's hot.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-03 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
You must have shit taste then.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Anonymous) 2016-11-03 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
No you.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
I mean.

That makes sense in some circumstances, but it doesn't seem like it makes sense in all circumstances? Like... in kids' movies or TV, does that make sense?

And it also doesn't really justify why it seems as one-sided, in terms of practicality versus sex appeal, as it does. Why there's a lot more of stuff that makes women hot than there is vice-versa.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, is this a kids' show? I dunno, I haven't watched kids shows in ages. He-Man and She-Ra both showed a lot of skin IIRC. Kids generally enjoy exaggerated physicality. The men in this pic seem silly and exaggerated to me, too.

Anyway, pardon me if I enjoy tits and ass and don't consider equal opportunity cartoon hotness a major feminist issue regardless of what year it is.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
You can find tits and ass anywhere else, why do you need to look for it here specifically?

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
Why not?

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
because not everything has to exist for you to jack off to, there are people who dislike it, the franchise didn't do it before...

if you argue it's okay because you like, how is "it's not okay because i dislike it and it's everywhere" not a valid argument

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
that said these all look atrocious and sixpack armor looks just as ridiculous as boob plate. we get it he's ripped under that

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
So?

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Careful you don't cut yourself on that edge.

Yawn.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
How original!

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Fair enough. But Power Rangers always seemed more aimed at teens to me? So the 'we do it because we know people will enjoy looking at it' stands.

I mean, there's a reason all the rangers were hot even out of the costumes.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
I like hot women too, but there's a time and a place for everything and Power Rangers just isn't right for that kind of fanservice. It's also alarming that the 90's costumes were more progressive about this than the current ones, it feels like a massive step back.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Alarming to who?

(Anonymous) 2016-11-04 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
The nineties costumes were skintight spandex where the girls had skirts in case anyone forgot they were girls. I don't think the new ones are worse or better.
