25. I’ve only seen a few episodes but this show is seriously helping me feel better, emotionally. Thank you, So Long Mr. Despair, for helping me laugh at a period that was actually very scary for me.

32. Aw, Conrad. I feel bad for the hate he sometimes gets in the fandom, and… ok, I make fun of him, too. But I do like him. I honestly feel like he is a great big brother, and Yuuri is lucky to have him as a godfather.

46. I’m also guessing “I Don’t Dance” also caused a few sexual revelations as well. And mmm… I want cotton candy.

49. My mom totally dated him once, though it wasn’t serious. He had a girlfriend, she said, that he was completely in love with back home. This was in the early 70’s, I guess. I was completely befuddled to learn this. I mean… what? Go Mom!

HSM, and especially HSM2, was probably the gayest thing I have ever seen (that wasn't, you know, "intended" to be that way).
The funniest thing is so many of its fans think I mean that as an insult.

Conrad gets hate? I'm kind of new to the fandom, but that's something I never expected.

I think so, but actually, it's not as bad as it could be. You know the drill; shipping leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. But perhaps the popularity of Conyuu, Yuuram, and Wolfrad can balance these elements.

Personally, I've never hated Conrad, but I did find his storyline in the second season with Julia a bit boring. Still, he's fairly awesome.
