03. I sometimes do, too. Luckily, not being a fanbrat means that my writing and characterization have at least improved a little. Conversely, when I was still a fanbrat, I didn't really care that my writing was crap, as long as I got reviews. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

21. Yeah, you're probably right. That's why I keep my active fandom participation confined to saner parts of the internet. I can read the fanfic without actually, ya know, participating in the batshit wank.

43. I dunno. It is quite a mystery. I suspect it has something to do with Izzy perhaps being perceived as more asexual, and therefore less slashable. (I say this as a person who is fond of slash.)
