FtMs in fandom, uniiiiiite. (Big point of this was because it's obviously hard to be FtM in fandom with all the idiots abound... so Iunno, maybe I feel some kinship.)

I swear I'm going to slap the next person who claims gender issues after reading slash or whatever-the-heck-you-might-have...

Slapping seems far too kind. They need a chair to the head. I have a question though: just what does Gravitation have to do with it? I’ve read Gravitation and I still don’t get what it has to do with anything.

Do you know how shit it is to be gay, ftm, and into slash (sort of)? Not only am I sick of the crap in fandom and of the stupid slash cliches, but I still like gay sex and queer studies and gay coding in media. I wish I didn't, because then I'd be able to quit fucking fandom and not have to deal with this shit about how I obviously just want to be "special" or a boy for the buttsex (that I'm not having!) or whatever.

Way to go, fandom. You know me, I'm just here to trick you with my gender issues.

I do, quite well, friend. FtM, gay, and quite the slash fiend.
And while I understand the hatred of people who squee about it because they want to have OMGMAGICALRAINBOWBUTTSECKS...
But I wish fandom wouldn't go off about the fact that it evidently seems that being FtM and gay just means you're another fangirl. Or, rather, fanboy.
