Could you rephrase this somehow? Your composition just punched my reading comprehension in the throat.

Somewhat. I don't really understand why you jammed FTM in there, unless you're referring to no/pre-ho transmen who had previously identified as lesbians. Or something like that.

Sorry, tact obviously isn't my strong suite.

The point was that it's incredibly difficult to tell whether this person or that person is a REAL lesbian/FTM/gay/bi/space alien/WHAT THE HELL EVER, while looking from the outside, and that it's better generally to just give them the benefit of the doubt until you know certainly otherwise.

In other words, I think the secret poster has a salient point, but that it's also a helluva generalization to make.

Mm. Especially with the age of a lot of people in fandom, since humans aren't universally secure in their identity the moment they escape the uterus.

Yes - a lot of them are still exploring and experimenting, etc, etc.

No prob, my sentence structure probably leaves a lot to be desired half the time.
