I've got nothing to add because that is an awesome list and I have no idea what I want to vote for. The only time I usually expect to see Steven Brust and Italo Calvino's names in the same place is in a list of my favorite authors.

Pretty sure it's not listed because they didn't say if it was Austen's Persuasion or one of the many other books with the same name.

Thanks for the offer, as it is on my to-read list. But, we've already got 11 strong contenders for December, so I think I'll refrain.
