Re: Do people really ______________?

I've never been pregnant, and with the way my love life is going, I won't be anytime soon, if ever.

But I'm really excited about the prospect of being pregnant. Admittedly there are a lot of negative drawbacks like morning sickness and aches & pains and not being able to fit into your shoes anymore and giving up caffeine and junk food and high heels & all of those ehhh things.

That said, there's also knowing you're growing a human life and experiencing their development. Feeling them kick. Talking to them and knowing they'll recognize your voice once you've given birth. Playing music for them to listen to in the womb. Idk. I just really love the idea of the relationship you can build with your fetus before it's born. It's unique and really intrigues me. But again, I've never been pregnant, so if I ever am, I'll get back to you on whether or not the real thing lives up to the imagined experience.
