I think that even when you are a villain fan, it is important to remember that they are villains. Like, in my fandom, where quite a few Melkor and Sauron fans are sympathetic to them and talk as if they aren't actually villains. And while some joke about if they had the ring, giving it to Sauron, it seems like some of them are actually serious. And, no. I like complicated villains. I like finding the bit of good in even the most evil villains. But they still do awful things. Anyone who tortures and murders and destroys for fun is not a good person. If either of them had won, that would be bad for everyone else.

I'm ready to ship all the slash in the Ace Attorney universe, but I'm so done with Wrightworth that I'll scroll past it when it inevitably shows up in fic about other pairings.

No, Wyman is not canonically non-binary. The character being kept gender-neutral by avoiding pronouns altogether does not mean the character is meant to actually identify as genderqueer in any way.
They took the cheapest, most cowardly route to appease people wanting LGBT+ representation by leaving everything open to interpretation without actually confirming or denying anything. You can headcanon the character as NB if you want, but it's not a canon fact (and, imo, the whole thing was pretty obviously changed retroactively).

I'm honestly a little sick of having to avoid and boycott things that the fandom morality police say are bad in some way. Or being told what to boycott in general. I will boycott what I fucking want.

I think "canon" is a generally silly idea, that probably shouldn't apply to shared universe franchises separated by decades.

I give precisely 0 fucks if Random Fan thinks Joker/Harley are kawaii or Kylo Ren just needs a hug or if Jar Jar Binks was the best part of the movies or whatever. And I don't like being expected to pearl clutch and educate them on But Abuse! But Villain! But Racism! I've got better things to do with my time and energy.

I'm a lesbian. I genuinely Do Not Care if you ship lesbian characters with men. I don't care! Fan content is completely insignificant to the canon, we still have a very very lesbian character in real life. So ship away! Have fun!

Seems that when I'm hungry I inveriably dream about food. Had a dream last night that I was cast on a new American version of the Great British Bake Off and was introducing Mary and Paul to American pie and how good it can be when done right.
