I was listening to a Westworld podcast and iirc they mentioned that before the show started airing the cast was upset about all the furor over potential rape scenes. This is probably why -- it's WAY less explicit than GOT (which is what I think people were kind of expecting?) and even though there is quite a bit of nudity, it's very clinical and mostly non-sexualized. I was surprised by it too, I was expecting it to be a lot worse.

I think it was Decoding Westworld (the one with Joanna Robinson). I only listen to two, the other being Watching Westworld by the Bald Move guys. I think I enjoy listening to those podcasts more than the actual show sometimes :P

Reassuring to hear, I've still not yet watched it because well HBO+rape=GOT in my head, and just not into that.
