I haven't seen the latest season yet, but I would think Glenn's death is being talked about more because he's been a main character since season 1. He started out as a really critical to the group and he was one of very few characters who'd been around that long.

Abraham is awesome, but people just aren't going to care as much about a dude who's been around for 2 or 3 (???) seasons. Especially since he's the kind of character who had a big 'pls kill me now' sign painted on him since the moment he had some kind of emotional backstory arc.
