I'm totally the same as you -- all that headgear and rubber bands and very little difference made. (Although tbh I wasn't as good at using my headgear as I should have been.)

Steroids, which you can't take indefinitely, for an indefinitely occurring problem - which you take by inhaling them, which I cannot do.
