OP, one thing you need to learn is that you do not know that person (unless you and she have met in person and hung out a lot). A person's fandom personality is only a fraction of their real self. Some fandom personalities are *performances*. You are trying to ruin the career of someone you barely know- I mean, has this person done something specifically to hurt you, or do you just find them annoying?

You don't have to hang aorund with them, and you don't *have* to do fandom. Unless they've hurt you or a friend personally, is any of this really worth the effort? To get back at someone who I'm sure doesn't know who you are and never purposely set out to hurt you?

Write your own story, for you, don't steal from someone who was having fun expressing an idea and was naive enough to do so in public.

Plus, you're probably not going to make as much from self publishing as you think you will. The author in question may never know you did it anyway.

Also, not really getting the connection between the BNF and giving money to homeless people. How do you know they don't do that all the time?

"You are trying to ruin the career of someone you barely know"

LOL, that's a bit melodramatic. Was Tolkien's career ruined by Terry Brooks lifting the entire plot of LOTR for The Sword of Shannara? Was Stephenie Meyers' career ruined by E.L. James?
