Probably the same people who hated Ginny once she was portrayed as being desirable and attractive. The type of people who are attracted to fandom are never going to like that Emma Watson turned out beautiful or characters like Ginny.

Ginny was hated because she was Harry's Sister-Mom-Girlfriend and it was all sorts of incest creepy. Jesus, that was bad.

Sorry to tell you, Ginny and Lily most likely looked nothing alike considering Lily is described as having dark red/auburn hair and Ginny bright red hair.

And let's be real, Ginny was hated the moment we found out she wasn't a shy little mousy girl and the dum dums who can't figure shit out realized Harry/Ginny was end game.

They also had different color eyes, differently-shaped eyes (Lily's almond eyes were mentioned in a way that Ginny's never were), and Ginny had freckles where Lily didn't, and we have no idea what their other features looked like. I don't know why people are so insistent that Lily and Ginny look alike because they have a single feature in common. Once again I have to ask, should I not date women with brown hair because that's what my mom has? That would be creepy? I'm always so confused by this.
